Role


Duties & Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the P & C administration team for encoding process. Provide support and reduce the administration workload for the underwriters.
- Liaising with Data, Management and Automation team on the underwriting admin automation projects in order to increase efficiency on encoding and reduce the time spend.
- Coordinating the admin team, and ensure that the admins have the required processing knowledge to perform the given task.
- Provide assistance to Underwriters by registering new businesses and archiving any declines, endorsements in various systems based on the deadlines given as the data will be use by other departments.
- Liaising with Underwriters to track and register any bound risks.
- Generating scheduled and ad-hoc reports for underwriters to analyse their portfolios’ performances.
- Complete all admin related matters in a timely manner.

Job Requirements
- Possess a tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
- Candidates with a minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience in underwriting are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people from all levels, both internally and externally.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills; ability to multitask.
- Independent, resourceful and able to work as a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Work well under pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining a high quality of work.
